Spirulina Planet is run by Peter Lloyd and Richard Cabelka.

Peter has been enjoying spirulina for the last 4 years. Without much exaggeration, you could say that he's a real spirulina addict. He drinks 2-3 glasses of day of his favourite lemon-water-spirulina combination. He sprinkles spirulina crunchy on his breakfast cereals or chews it when he goes hiking. He's slowly starting to turn green.

"I love selling spirulina, as it is a multiple win situation. It's good for people buying it, it's good for Auroville - a community I believe in - it's good for the workers and environment there, and it's good to sell it here in Hong Kong and internationally." Peter has been to Auroville over 10 times and almost joined the community last year. Instead, he supports it from Hong Kong as an Auroville Liason Centre. In addition to Spirulina Planet, Peter is an editor of Holistic Asia (the website to be launched soon) and Positive News Hong Kong. Both magazines are dedicated to creating a better world on as many levels as possible.

While Peter is Spirulina Planet's frontline man, Richard prefers the back-end. He usually hides away in the dark corners of cyberspace, quietly coding his day away. He prefers to have his spirulina in facial masks, but he occasionally succumbs to Peter's pressure and has some capsules or nibbles on crunchy too.

Richard loves outdoors, Ramana Maharshi, David Deida, and attentive listening. He also likes basketball, rock climbing, and video games - oftentimes probably too much for his own sake.
